Can you tell us how you first got started in the world of modeling and acting? Was there a particular moment that made you realize this was your passion?
I first stepped into the world of modeling and acting at the age of 14 when I appeared in a commercial for Arnet, an internet service provider. That experience opened my eyes to the world of creativity and performance, and it was during that time I realized how much I enjoyed expressing myself in front of the camera. Soon after, I was cast in the children’s movie Caídos del Mapa, which further solidified my passion. The thrill of bringing a character to life and the excitement of being part of a creative process made me realize that this was more than just a job—it was something I was deeply passionate about.

You began your artistic career at a young age. What was it like transitioning from traditional media, like commercials and films, to the world of social media influencing?
Transitioning from traditional media to social media influencing was both challenging and exciting. In traditional media, you’re often part of a larger production with a specific role to play, whereas social media allows for more personal expression and direct connection with your audience. I had to learn how to create content that resonated with people on a more personal level, and that involved showing more of my authentic self. Social media also brought a sense of immediacy and interaction that wasn’t present in traditional media. It’s been a journey of adapting and evolving, but I love the creative freedom and the ability to connect with people in real time.

Social media can be both rewarding and challenging. How do you maintain authenticity while growing your follower base and working with well-known brands?
Maintaining authenticity is incredibly important to me, especially as my follower base grows and I collaborate with well-known brands. I’m very selective about the partnerships I take on, making sure they align with my personal style and values. It’s essential that any collaboration feels genuine and that it’s something I truly believe in. I also make a point to share both the polished and unfiltered moments of my life, so my followers see the real me. Staying true to myself and being honest in my content helps me maintain that authenticity, and I think my audience appreciates that.

You’ve worked with big brands like Swarovski, Swatch, and Ricky Sarkany. How do you stay true to your personal style and values when partnering with major companies?
When partnering with major companies, I always ensure that the collaboration aligns with my personal style and values. I’m fortunate to work with brands that respect my creative input and allow me to interpret their vision in a way that feels authentic to me. I carefully select partnerships that resonate with my audience and that I feel genuinely passionate about. Staying true to my identity is non-negotiable, and I believe that’s what makes the collaboration successful—not just for the brand, but also for my followers, who trust my recommendations.

What does a typical day in your life look like? How do you balance work, personal life, and staying connected with your followers?
A typical day in my life is a blend of work, self-care, and connecting with my followers. I usually start my day with some form of exercise, like yoga or a workout, followed by a healthy breakfast. Depending on the day, I might have photoshoots, meetings, or content creation sessions lined up. I make it a priority to stay connected with my audience, whether it’s through Instagram stories, live sessions, or simply engaging in the comments. Balancing work and personal life is about setting boundaries—I make sure to carve out time for myself and my loved ones, which helps me stay grounded and focused.

Who or what inspires your fashion choices? Are there any particular designers, influencers, or trends that you’re currently obsessed with?
My fashion choices are inspired by a mix of personal intuition, current trends, and timeless style icons. I love exploring different eras and cultures for inspiration, and I’m particularly drawn to designs that are both elegant and edgy. Right now, I’m obsessed with minimalist yet bold trends—think clean lines, monochrome palettes, and statement accessories. I admire designers like Jacquemus for their innovative approach to fashion and influencers who aren’t afraid to push the boundaries of style. I also love how fashion is becoming more inclusive and diverse, and I try to incorporate that mindset into my own choices.

If you could collaborate with any brand or individual in the world, who would it be and why?
If I could collaborate with any brand, it would probably be Chanel. The brand’s iconic status, attention to detail, and timeless elegance have always fascinated me. Collaborating with Chanel would be a dream because they embody a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, and I think there’s so much creative potential in a partnership like that. On a more personal note, working with someone like Virgil Abloh would have been incredible because of his unique vision and ability to blend different worlds together—fashion, music, art—in a way that’s innovative and meaningful.

Being an influencer requires you to share a lot of your life online. How do you strike a balance between public and private life?
Striking a balance between public and private life is definitely a challenge, but it’s something I’ve learned to manage over time. I’m very mindful of what I share online, making sure it aligns with my brand while still protecting my personal space. There are aspects of my life that I choose to keep private, and I think it’s important to set those boundaries. I also make sure to take breaks from social media when needed, to recharge and focus on my personal life. It’s all about finding a balance that feels right for me and staying true to who I am.

What does beauty mean to Sofía?
To me, beauty is about being connected to your inner self and radiating that connection outward. It’s about authenticity, kindness, and embracing who you truly are. I believe beauty is much more than physical appearance—it’s about the light you bring into the world, the way you treat others, and the confidence you have in yourself. Just like every flower or tree has its own unique beauty, so does every person. The challenge is recognizing and appreciating that beauty in ourselves so that others can see it too. True beauty comes from within, and when you’re at peace with yourself, it shines through in everything you do.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Independent, proactive, and feminine.

What are some of your go-to self-care practices when you need to recharge?
When I need to recharge, I turn to a mix of physical and mental self-care practices. Movement is key—I love doing yoga or going for a walk to clear my mind. Hydration and superfoods are also essential to keep my body feeling its best. I’m a big believer in skincare, so I’ll indulge in facial treatments and massages, which help me relax and rejuvenate. Sauna sessions and cold plunges are also part of my routine, as they help me reset and feel energized. Taking care of myself holistically is what keeps me balanced and ready to take on whatever comes next.

What are the three songs you are currently listening to on repeat?
I’m really into melodic techno right now—it keeps me energized and is perfect for setting the mood during photoshoots. Some of the tracks I’ve been playing on repeat have that driving beat that gets you into a creative flow. It’s fun, uplifting, and always keeps me in a positive headspace.
